Mr. Jerry Dean Smith of Dothan passed away Monday, August 17, 2015. He was 66.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 to 2 P.M. Friday, August 21,  2015. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Shrine Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Bubbie Smith, sisters Evelyn Varney, Joyce Philpot, Jackie Tipton, and grandchild Christopher Craig.

Survivors include daughters Nicky Haney of Columbus, GA; Jennifer Cainion of Jacksonville, FL; sisters Mary Deskins, Jessie Ann Thompson, Pat Kelly, brother James Smith, grandchildren Xavier and Micaela Cainion, Amber Burton, Jacob Haney, Chandler Drummond, and great-grandchild Aidan Burton.
