Mr. Jerry Robinson of Coffee Springs passed away at his residence on Thursday, April 7, 2016, after an extended illness.  He was 66.  The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Jerry was born in Geneva County, Ala. on February 13, 1950, to the late J.D. Roberson and Etta Hill Roberson.  Prior to his retirement he worked in the construction industry.  In his pastime he loved to fish and go hunting.  He also enjoyed pulling for Auburn.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jeff Roberson, Hearlon Roberson and Junior Roberson; and four sisters, Mattie Chamblee, Mable Roberson, Jean Bryant and Pearlie Paul.

He is survived by his son, JJ Robinson; daughter, Tammy Robinson, both of Samson; four grandchildren, Joshua Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Erica Robinson and Selena Robinson; brother, Eddie Robinson (Inez) of Samson; three sisters, Nettie Hudson of Elba, Myrtle Mullins and Martha Vandegrift, both of Samson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
