Mr. Jesse Ronnie Strickland of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Flowers Hospital. He was 65.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Madrid Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, June 6, 2014. Flowers will be accepted.

 

He loved his family and was a good man.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents Damon Reginald Strickland and Polly Estelle Hilson Strickland, two sisters, JoAnn Oliver and Alice Davis and a brother James Strickland.

 

Survivors include his wife DeLois Strickland of Slocomb; daughters Tamela Yeomans of Cottonwood; Rhonda Crecelius of Tavares, FL; Lisa Bates of Panama City Beach, FL; Jessie Waters of Tavares, FL; sons, Jesse Strickland of Astatula, FL; Eric Strickland of Astatula, FL; sisters, Bobbie Roberts of Cowarts; Peggy Parks of Umatilla, FL; grandchildren Whitney Wallace, Andrea Crecelius, Katilin Crecelius, Dexter Bates, Gunner Bates, Clayton Waters, Summer Strickland, Billy Strickland, Cailobe Turner, great-grandchild Aaliyah Crecelius, and several nieces and nephews.
