Mr. Jimmy Ray Keen, Sr. of Newton passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at his residence. He was 58.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2013, Newton First Assembly of God with Reverends Tommy Giddens and Terry Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Newton City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, September 12, 2013. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mr. Keen was a member of Newton First Assembly of God. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

 

Survivors include his parents, James Mitchell and Nancy Keen of Newton; daughters, Jamie Evarts of Newton; Christina Deeter and her husband, Jason of PA; son, Jimmy Keen, Jr. and his wife, Charlotte of Dothan; sister, Alicia Deese and her husband, Scott of Dothan; brother, Ronnie Keen and his wife, Nancy of Newton; grandchildren, Adrianna, Jacob, Patyon, Ella Grace, three nephews and one niece.
