Mr. John Hobson Shaver of Dothan passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 46.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Willie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 to 10 A.M. Thursday, March 13, 2014, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Vaughn Blumberg Center.

 

Mr. Shaver is preceded in death by his father, Cecil H. Shaver and his grandparents.

 

Survivors include his mother, Cornelia Shaver of Dothan; brother, Wade Shaver and his wife, Annette of Dothan; two nephews, Gabriel Shaver (Michele), Clint Shaver, two great nieces, Kallen and Faith Shaver, and several aunts and uncles.
