Obituary:  Johnnie Mack Morris

 

Mr. Johnnie Mack Morris of Enterprise passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 66.

Funeral services with full Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with cremation following.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 1:00pm and continuing until service time.

Mr. Morris was born November 22, 1949 in Magee, Mississippi to Odes and Mary Mathis Morris. He served in the Army as a Master Aircraft Mechanic. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Mathis Morris, one brother, Tommie Ray Morrris, one sister, Mary Evelyn Lambert.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Morris, Enterprise; his father, Odes Morris; three daughters: Tina Faye Taschione (Chris), Texas, Jennifer Johnson, New York, Sarah Morris; two sons: George Marshall Davis (Michelle), Abbeville, Kenneth Brent Knight, Enterprise; one sister, Carol Ann Holifield (Greg), Mississippi; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a very special great-granddaughter Rae Rae whom he loved very much, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
