Jordan Taylor Waters Peters, a resident of Taylor, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his residence. He was 20.

 

Graveside services for Jordan will be held at 3 PM Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Gardens of Memory cemetery with Eric Boutwell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service.

 

Jordan was born in Dothan January 5, 1994 and resided in Houston County all of his life. He attended Rehobeth High School and Fortis College. While at Rehobeth, he excelled in sports to include football and baseball. Jordan was fond of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers and going to the river. He was devoted to family and friends and especially his Paw Paw. Jordan had a good heart and soul.

 

Survivors include his mother, Jamie Womack, Taylor; sister, Madalyn Womack, Taylor; brother, Dakota Peters, Dothan; grandparents, James and Sue Waters, Taylor; special friend, Billy Burch; numerous extended family, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Serving as active pallbearers will be; Derrick Chandlers, Darron Scott, Cody Strickland, Hatch Davis, Tyler Elmore and Justin Pybus.
