Mr. Julian Edward Baxley of Coffee Springs passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Wiregrass Medical Center.  He was 78. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Lawson and Rev. Greg Summerlin officiating.  Burial will follow in Eden Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Geneva directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. 

In addition to his parents, five sons: Ronnie Edward, Bennie Edward, Benjie Thomas, Jimmy Edward and Bobby Ray Baxley; two brothers: John and Harold Baxley all preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ludine Baxley, Coffee Springs; one sister, Audrey Ruth Bryan, Paxton, FL; one brother, Ewell Benjamin “Ben” Baxley (Margaret), Atmore; three granddaughters: Cindy Lynn Webster (Leon), Angel Lynn Bryant (Gerald), and Amy Lynn Baxley; two grandsons: Jimmy Wayne Baxley and Edward Lee Baxley (Dottie) all of Geneva; one great grandson, Brandon Baxley; one special niece, Sara Long; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Wise, Clay Wise, Adam Bryan, Jeffery Kirkland, Tommy Tice and Manuel Rameriz.
