Mr. Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Traylor, age 49, a resident of Cottonwood, died Saturday April 23, 2016 at the SAMC after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday April 26, 2016 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood with the Reverend’s Tony Deese and Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Ramah Church Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to services. Flowers will be accepted.
Kenny was born on September 4, 1966 in Dothan the son of Glen Traylor and Addie Nell Deese Traylor. He was a 1984 graduate of Cottonwood High School and a member of the Watermark Church in Ashford. Kenny was a carpenter in the homebuilding industry and was a lifelong resident of Cottonwood.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Runell & Addis Deese; paternal grandparents, Addie Lee and Lee Traylor.
Survivors include: son, Tyler Traylor, Cottonwood; daughter, Ashton Bradshaw, Dothan; parents, Glen & Addie Nell Traylor, Cottonwood; sister, Kay Fails(Chip), Dothan; 3 grandchildren, Lottie Lewis, Cayden Lewis and Bailynn Burch; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew & niece.
Pallbearers will be: Brian Deese, Dane Rhodes, Jason McCorkel, Jonathan Holland, Todd Deese and David Lewis.
Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
