  Mr. Larry F. Barrett of Dothan passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 78.

 

  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

 

  Larry was a loving and wonderful husband, daddy, and Pa-Pa. He was friends to everyone, but he loved his Heavenly Father most of all.

 

  He was born on Dec. 23, 1937 to Joseph and Ollie Belle Fulton Barrett. 

 

   He was preceded in death by his parents, four infant children, several brothers and sisters. 

 

   He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Barrett; 2 children, Grant Barrett, Hope Hogan (David); 2 grandchildren, Allison Hall (Jason) and Blake Brown (Ashley); 5 great grandchildren Avery and Madison Brown, Isaiah, Seth and Kaylee Hall all of Dothan.  One brother, Walter G. Barrett (Patch) of TX; several nieces and nephews.
