Mr. Louie Floyd Ready of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015. He was 86.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Royce Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday, August 7, 2015. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Ready was a member of Burns Assembly of God. He was a Mason for 51 years and loved dancing and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife Grace Bynum Ready, daughter Patricia Scheffer, sisters Nettie Mae Shephard and Lossie Mae Bynum.

Survivors include daughters Charlotte Daberkoe, Sheila Tarado, Rhonda Kurth and her husband Michael, sons Robert Ready and his wife Kristin, Roger Ready and his wife Wendy, brothers Junior Ready and his wife Betty, G.C. Ready, grandchildren Roger, Grace, Chris, Jessie, Angela, Barry, Rhonda, Sarah, Abbie, Audra, Lucas, Josh, Justin, and great-grandchildren Cheyenne and Riley.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Masonic Lodge #466.
