Mr. Louis Fuentes of Enterprise, AL passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the family residence.  He was 83.

 

The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.  The family will hold a private graveside service at Meadowlawn Cemetery.

 

Mr. Fuentes was born August 29, 1933 in Beeville, Texas. He was retired from the United States Army, where he served as an air traffic controller.  He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and was actively involved in the Enterprise community.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Reyna Fuentes; his parents, Luis Fuentes and Luz Rodriguez Fuentes; and his brother, Cruz Fuentes.

 

Survivors include a daughter, Debra L. Pringle (Chip), Panama City, FL; two sons: Gil Fuentes, Enterprise and Robert L. Fuentes (Ashley), Birmingham, AL; sister, Jo Ethel Valdez (Pete), Beeville, TX; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren.
