Mr. Sheffield McCants “Mac” Curry of Westville, Fla. passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015.  He was 71.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Mt. Ida Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Mashburn and Rev. Mitchell Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Ida Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 2026 Sherwood Lane, Westville, FL 32464.

Mr. Curry was born in Holmes Co., Fla. on January 1, 1944 to the late James Ezra and Alice Lee Adams Curry.  Prior to his retirement he worked as a security guard for Benson Wholesale and later for Fleming Foods.  He loved to be outdoors, fishing and telling stories on his front porch.  He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Curry, Roberta Capps and Rosa Etta Stewart; and a granddaughter, Mary Caitlyn Curry.

He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Linda Curry; two sons, Jason Curry (Melanie) of Bonifay, Fla. and David Curry (Brooke) of Geneva; three grandsons, Nathan, Logan and Tristan Curry, all of Bonifay; brother, Elton W. Curry (Sophie) of Chimayo, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
