Mr. Marvin Dwight Jackson of Ashford passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. He was 64.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Starling officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 4 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2016, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Jackson was a lifelong resident of Ashford. He grew up farming and served in the Insurance Industry for 36 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents J.B. Jackson and Mary Katherine Chambliss Jackson, sister Barbara Jackson and brother Wallace Jackson.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years Angela Jackson, daughter Kylie Jackson, son Casey Jackson and his wife Kendra, sister Joyce Ingram, 2 grandsons Trevor and Hayden and granddaughter Brooke.
