Mr. Milner Howard Hanahan, Sr., age 69, a resident of Dothan, died Friday July 1, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.

 Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 5, 2016 at the Memory Hill Cemetery with Pastor Troy West officiating and Kendall Glover directing. 

 The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Tuesday prior to services.  In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Harrison Clark Memorial Endowment Scholarship Fund at the University of Alabama at  onlinegiving.ua.edu.

 Mr. Hanahan was born on January 9, 1947 in Dothan the son of Ingraham Hasell Gaillard Hanahan, Sr. and Hazel Leewyn Doster Hanahan.  He was a 1965 graduate of Dothan High School and a graduate of the Marion Military Institute then he attended the University of Alabama.  Mr. Hanahan was a sales representative in the paper industry for many years and also worked as a real estate sales person for a number of years.  He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ingraham Hasell Gaillard Hanahan, Jr.

 Survivors include: wife, Peggy Patterson Hanahan, Dothan; 2 sons, Milner Howard Hanahan (Joie), Huntsville; Marion Lothrop Hanahan IV (Taylor), Hartwell, Ga.; granddaughter, Hadley Marie Hanahan, Huntsville; 2 sisters, Jean Hanahan Hall (Gene), Birmingham; Hasell Hanahan Handrahan (Bob), Birmingham; brother, James (Jimmy) Doster Hanahan, Dothan; cousin, LaBruce M. Hanahan, Jr. Dothan; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

 Pallbearers will be: Curt Ausley, John Davis, Casey Teal, Neil Simmons, Mark Patterson and Scot Patterson.

 Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
