Ned Louis Forshee, a resident of Dothan, died Monday afternoon, July 4, 2016 in a Dothan hospital. He was 77.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ray McKenzie and Reverend Clifton McWhorter officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Hwy 431, Dothan, AL.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cloverdale Baptist Church, 806 Dexter Street, Dothan, AL 36301.
Mr. Forshee, son of the late Rufus E. and Cleo Smith Forshee, was a lifetime resident of Houston and Geneva Counties. He served in the Alabama National Guard in Slocomb and attended Cloverdale Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene and L. Z. Forshee and a sister, Janice Pridgett.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Hilda Ruth Forshee; two sisters, Ruby Mae Brooks of Hartford and Lorene Lairmore of Webb; sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Forshee and Ann Walker of Dothan; brother-in-law, Tommy (Paula) Wilkerson of Kentucky; and several nephews.
