Paul Anthony Metcalf, a resident of Dothan, died Friday March 25, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 62.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 6 PM at Dothan Country Fellowship with Reverend Fred Bacher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Metcalf was born in Wilmington, Delaware October 15, 1953 to Edward and Beatrice Merle Metcalf, Sr. He was an electrician by trade but would give the shirt off of his back to help those in need. Mr. Metcalf was caring, loving and a faithful member of Dothan Country Fellowship.

Survivors include his wife, Theata Metcalf; two daughters, Jessica and Todd Grooms, Linda Metcalf; son, Michael Anthony Metcalf; grandson, Joseph Grooms; special friends, Beau Deatherage, Brian Dietrich and Jason Harger.
