Phillip Whigham passed away November 1, 2013, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.  He was 63.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 4, 2013 at  Pittman Funeral Home  in Samson.  Burial will follow at Lowery Church of Christ Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.  The family will receive visitors at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Phil was born March 18, 1950, in Lowery, Alabama.  He graduated from Samson High School in 1968.  He lived much of his adult life in Excel, Alabama.

Survivors include his daughter Adrienne Lewis, her husband Eric , and granddaughter Jenna of Wetumpka; son Andy Whigham of Excel; brother, Paul Whigham of Kinston; sister and brother-in-law Maxine and Ben McManus of Boston; sister and brother-in-law Thelia and Britton Kelly of Spanish Fort; sister and brother-in-law Kay and Bob Bryan of Atlanta; and sister Emily Powell of Samson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Entice Whigham.
