Obituary: Mr. Preston Franklin “Frank” Brown

 

Mr. Preston Franklin “Frank” Brown of Enterprise passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at SAMC. He was 73. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Johnny Bryant and Rev. Lester Vick officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. 

Mr. Brown was born July 24, 1943 in Coffee County to the late Jule and Axie Smith Brown.  Frank owned and operated Enterprise Electric Motor Service for 45 years.  He was a dedicated servant of Christ and attended Christ Community Church of God.  Frank was a loving husband, adoring father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. 

In addition to his parents, a sister, Louise Caplinger and a brother, Ray Brown preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn Russell Brown, Enterprise; son, Shannon Brown (Shannon), Enterprise; grandchildren: Alybelle Brown and Blaine Brown, who were the love of his life; sister, Louverne Vick (Lester), Bay Minette; niece, Danielle Speke (West Lee); great niece, Emily Speke; other extended family and a host of friends.
