Mr. Randolph Sullivan Brown, age 76, of Webb, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016.
Born November 19, 1939 in Geneva County to the late Richard and Lillie Mae Mitchell Brown, Mr. Brown was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. He retired from the Houston County Road and Bridge Department and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved to travel and camp with his family. He also enjoyed listening to bluegrass and gospel music. He loved spending time with his family and his dog, Pinky and especially loved spoiling his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Manuel Brown; and his sisters, Flossie Hightower, Ireeder Hudson, Melvina Brown, and Vandella Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Brown; his daughters, Beth Freeman (Kevin) and Barbara Lane; his son, Clarence Brown; his sisters, Hazel Chambless (Roy) and Linda Ellis (Bobby); his brother, James Brown; his grandchildren, Samantha Brown, Alyssa Freeman, Jared Freeman, Emmalee Freeman, Jon Sully Freeman, and Matt Lane; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Cowarts Baptist Church with Reverend Hugh Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 3 PM, Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Cowarts Baptist Church, prior to the service.
The family will be accepting flowers.
