Mr. Raymond Earl Forehand, age 80, a resident of Dothan went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kerry Kizer officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave. Dothan, AL. 36303.                             

Mr. Forehand was born on August 13, 1935 in Jackson County, Florida the son of Shelley B. Forehand and Tavie Shiver Forehand. He was retired owner of F & F Fence Co., and he also worked with Colonial Bread for 20 years. He graduated in 1953 from Cottonwood High School and was lifelong residence of Dothan.  Mr. Forehand was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Tim Forehand and Andy Forehand; brother, Shelby Forehand.

Survivors include: wife of 62 years Avis Andrews Forehand, Dothan, AL.; sister, Virginia Bayless, Ashville, N.C.; granddaughter, Amanda Peters (Duwayne), Dothan, AL.; 2 grandsons, Matt Forehand, and Drew Forehand, Dothan, AL.; sister in law, Charlotte Forehand, Dothan, AL.; 2 daughter in laws, Sue Forehand, Dothan, AL., Debbie Forehand, Eufaula, AL.; 2 step- grandchildren, Jessica Graham (Linc) and Clay Dansby; 5 great-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren.
