Mr. Robert Herbert Roach, age 83, a resident of Daleville died Monday July 8, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.

 

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday July 20, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness located at 2627 E. Cottonwood Road, Dothan with Minister Wade Register memorializing the life of Mr. Robert Roach.  Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 18 at 11 a.m. at Daleville Memorial Gardens (Mile Marker 190 on Highway 84 West).

 

Flowers will be accepted and can be delivered to Glover Funeral Home (1468 Hartford Highway, Dothan, AL  36301) on Friday, July 19, 2013 by 4:30 p.m.

 

Mr. Roach was born on October 21, 1929 in Florida.  He was a retired E7 in the United States Army.  He also retired from Civil Service in Ft. Rucker. Mr. Roach had lived in Daleville since 1974 and was of the Jehovah Witness faith.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth V. Roach; parents, Eddie and Lillian Williams Roach; four brothers, Eli Eddie, Elijah, Napoleon, and Walter Roach; two sisters, Ruby Roach Macon and Vinnie A. Roach.

 

Survivors include: three brothers, Mitchell Roach (Vivian), Tallahassee, FL; Matthew Roach (Margaret), Stanton, VA and John Roach (Johnnie), Gordon, AL; and many nieces and nephews.
