Mr. Robert Lee Roy, age 85, a resident of Dothan died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. 

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m Saturday May 24, 2014 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Tim Stevenson officiating and Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Glover Funeral Home prior to Services.  Flowers will be accepted. 

Mr. Roy was born January 4, 1929 in Wetumpka, the son of the late John H. and Zula Mae Sager Roy.  He was retired as a cable splicer, working 10 years with Southern Bell and as an independent contractor for 30 years.  Mr. Roy worked at Sadie’s Flea Market for 18 years and he was a U.S. Navy Veteran. 

Survivors include: wife, Cathy Roy, Dothan; daughter, Teresa Frazier, The Villages, FL.; son, David Roy, Montgomery; step-daughter, Susan Starr, Dothan; step-son, Rick Coddington, Newville; sister-in-law, Shirley Roy, Wetumpka. 

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
