Mr. Roy Hubert Peeler, age 85, a resident of Webb (formerly of Malone, Florida) died Thursday November 20, 2014 at Extendicare Health and Rehab Center.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the

Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Malone, Florida with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Peeler was born on June 6, 1929 in Jackson County the son of Hubert Jacob Peeler and Ollie Bea Fears. He worked for Green Jordan Trucking in Malone, Florida for 10 years and Summerford Trucking in Ashford, Alabama for 40 years and had been a resident of Webb for the past 2 years.

He was preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers, Major Harold Peeler and Robert Allen Peeler.

Survivors include: 2 daughters Barbra Brown, Webb, AL., Cynthia Peeler Gist, Dothan, AL.; 2 sons Roy Stanley Peeler, Pensacola, FL., Charles Ronald Peeler (Carla), Houma, LA.; 7 grandchildren, Candice Traylor, Christopher Peeler, Kyle Brown, Ashley Gist, Cody Peeler, Casey Brown, Amber Gist,; 3 great-grandchildren, Karissa Maus, Kaylee Traylor, Grayson Towns; 2 sisters, Emma Ruth Taylor, Malone, FL., Patricia Carol Holland, Dothan, AL.; 2 brothers Walter Amos Peeler, Malone, FL. and Howard J. Peeler, Tallahassee, FL.
