Mr. Ruben “Leon” Trimm of Dothan passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 68.

 

Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

Leon Trimm was born in Fayette, AL on August 14, 1944. He received his education from Kirkland School. Leon worked in the milk processing for many years. He moved to Dothan and went to work at King Church Furniture for 25 years until his retirement. He loved gardening and loved Alabama Crimson Tide Football.

he is preceded in death by his parents, Wyman Timm and Jaller Kirkland Trimm, sister, Geneva Byers, nephew, Jim Bowers, and son-in-law, Toby Baxley.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cathy Trimm, daughters, Kimberly Baxley, Shelia Payette, son, Greg Trimm, sister, Marie Bowers, sister-in-law, Eliane Finley, brother, Wayne Trimm, grandchildren, Kyle Baxley, Kyla and Ally Trimm, mother and father-in-law, Jack and Agnes Hunt, many nieces, nephews, friends, special friends, Gerald and Rita Jemison, and his beloved dog, Penny.
