Mr. Simon Kermit Bearry, age 60, a resident of Dothan died Monday, August 10, 2015, after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the Lakeside Christian Fellowship with Pastor Mickey Skinner, Rev. Larry Elliott,  and Becky Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Christian Fellowship Cemetery, Shorterville, AL. with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Bearry was born on October 18, 1954 in Blakely GA. the son of William Chester Bearry and Mary Lee Howard Bearry. He was a lifelong resident of Henry County and worked for the City of Abbeville in the Sanitation Department. Mr. Bearry was a member of the Lakeside Christian Fellowship.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Sidney Kennard Bearry and Lloyd Steve Bearry; sister, Linda Kirkland.

Survivors include: wife, Lucy Bearry, Dothan, AL.; 2 sons, Ray Bearry, Newville, AL. and Ryan Bearry, Dothan, AL.; daughter, Angela Bearry (Stanley), Dothan, AL.; 3 sisters, Brenda Bearry, Ashford, AL., Julia Foster (Robert), Valley, AL., Erma Temples (Buck), Ashford, AL.; brother, Joseph Bearry, Cowarts, AL.

Pallbearers will be: Nick Kirkland, Chris Kirkland, Jason Temples, Blake Temples, Keith Johnson, Ricky Kirkland.

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
