Terry Day, a resident of Athens, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital. He was 63.

Funeral services for Mr. Day will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 19,   2013 at Evergreen Presbyterian Church with Reverend David Jamison officiating. Burial will follow in the Dothan City Cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service in the parlor  and at other times will be at the family residence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Angels Foundation, C/O Hospice Advantage of Dothan, 3245 Montgomery Hwy Suite 8, Dothan, Alabama  36303

Born in Dongola, Kentucky, Terry was a son of the late James Harold and Jeanette Lucas Day. He has a master degree in Electrical engineering and worked with CAS-WYLE Engineering firm and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are his wife, Sudie Mae Wynn Day, Athens, Alabama; a son & daughter-in-law, Dr. Terry Day, II and his wife Charla Woodham Day, Dothan, Alabama; a brother, Tommy D. Day, Tyner, Kentucky; a niece, Jaime Day; a nephew, Elliott Day; a sister, Minerva Jo Day Caudill, Premium, Kentucky; a nephew, Jordan Caudill; one grandchild, Kylee Jean Day, Dothan, Alabama.
