Mr. Terry Earl Johns of Chancellor passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was 60. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at El Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Hingson officiating. Burial will follow at Providence United Methodist Church with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. 

Mr. Johns was born in Livorno Military Base, Italy on February 29, 1956 to Mr. Earl and Mrs. Geraldine “Doll” Johns. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine “Doll” Johns. 

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Nancy Johns of Chancellor, AL; two daughters, Hope Melvin of Enterprise, AL and Sherry Green of Hartford AL; father, Earl Johns of Chancellor, AL; four grandchildren, Tyler Melvin, Delana Green, Savannah Green, and Brandon Stevens; three brothers, Larry and wife Cindy Johns of Chancellor AL., Michael and wife Stephanie Johns of Chancellor, AL, Mark and wife Cody Johns of Enterprise AL; three nephews, Tristian, Jamisen and Branson; four nieces, Tammy, Teresa, Chelsea and Harper. Pallbearers will be Wesley Garwood, Larry Johns, Michael Johns, Mark Johns, Keith Bloodworth, and Michael Melvin.
