Mr. Tommy Earl Branton, age 67, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Born June 6, 1947 in Dothan to the late Chester and Ruby Lee Casey Branton, Mr. Branton served his country in the Air National Guard retiring after 29 years. He also worked with the local telephone company for over 35 years. During his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Branton is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Branton.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey (Katie) Branton and Michael Branton; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2015 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jovan Barrington officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the funeral home.

The family will be accepting flowers or donations may be made to a favorite charity.
