Mr. Treadwell H. Peters of Dothan passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was 79.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Larry Carpenter and Ricky Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2015. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Peters worked in heating and cooling for many years, Howard’s Department Store, and Southeast Alabama Gas District for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents W.W. Peters and Mary Williams Peters two sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include his wife Mattie Peters of Dothan; daughters Lori Kirkland and her husband Jerry of Dothan; Sandy Mullins of Ashford; Rita Marlow of Ashford; sons James Peters of Tennessee; Jerry Peters and his wife Sandy of Ashford; Barry Peters of Ashford;  Jason Peters of Ashford; sister Janice Elkins and her husband Bill of Dothan; brother Richard Peters and his wife Barbara of Dothan; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the Doctors and Staff at Flowers Hospital on 3 South.
