William Allen Reynolds, 69, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Flowers Hospital.

 

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Hodgesville Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Bristow officiating. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the services.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hodgesville Baptist Church building fund, 11190 County Road 33, Dothan, Alabama  36301.

 

Born in Houston County, Alabama on November 7, 1944, William was a son of the late Allen L and Mary Stephens Reynolds. He worked as a Health Inspector with the City of Jacksonville, Florida for twenty five years prior to his retirement. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War, and is a member of the Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.

 

In addition to his parents Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie London.

 

Surviving are his wife, Jolaine Adkinson Reynolds, Dothan, Alabama; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lynn Anne Reynolds, Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Ella Rose Reynolds and Ruby Skye Reynolds; a dear friend, Wendy Kirkland, Dothan, Alabama, and several cousins.
