Mr. William Robert (Bob) Richards of Dothan passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at his residence. He was 66.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.
Mr. Richards attended Memphis Baptist Church and loved boating, fishing, traveling and camping with his family. He raised miniature horses and loved the outdoors. He was devoted to his family. Mr. Richards was employed with G.E. for 20 years and was sales manager for Bondys Toyota in Enterprise. He worked part-time with American self storage. He retired from the Alabama Army National Guard in Geneva, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl Richards and Lorene Harrelson Richards and one brother David L. Richards.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Richards of Dothan; daughters Tessa Richards of Dothan; Vicki Richards Bell of Dothan; sister, Frances E. Barnes and her husband Hal of Dothan; sister-in-law Brenda Richards of Dothan; grandchildren Ross Bell, Jacob Baxter, Seth Bell and several nieces and nephews and other family members.
