We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Betty Glass Adams, age 81 of Dothan, AL formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, January 28, 2013.
Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Jesse Reeder and Rev. Mike Golson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Brady Reeder, Drake Reeder, Logan Reeder, Robert Cleveland, Mark Hawkins, Hiram Mock and Joey Lovering serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Adams was born on July 7, 1931 to the late Ben Alex Glass and Eddie Easom Glass. Mrs. Adams was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Bruce Adams and his wife and Jennifer of Dothan, AL; a brother, Lester Glass of Donalsonville, GA; three grandchildren, Dr. Jesse Reeder and his wife Michelle, Carrie Davis and her husband William, Brady Reeder and his wife Laura; and eight great grandchildren, Drake Reeder, Logan Reeder, Keeli Reeder, Antonio Ruiz Davis, Anna Ruiz Davis, Andrew Davis, Marissa Hall and Mason Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Alex Glass and Eddie Easom Glass; her husband, Henry Adams; two brothers, Frank Glass, Pete Glass; and three sisters, Ella Mae Mock, Naomi Lovering, and Molly Albritton.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
