            Betty Jean Carr Motley of Coffee Springs, AL passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 in Wiregrass Nursing Home in Geneva, AL.  She was 70.

            Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, June 3, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Rev. Duran Sherrer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Goodman Independent Church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 until 11 am.

            Mrs. Motley was born March 11, 1943 in Samson, AL to the late Roy Lee and Cora Barbaree Carr.  She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Motley, Jr.; 1 daughter, Brenda Motley; 3 sons: Roger Motley, Danny Motley and Stevie Motley; 3 brothers, Jerry Carr, Walter Carr and Robert Lee Carr.

            Survivors include 3 daughters: Annette Baker (Ted), Dothan, AL, Kathy Motley, Cullman, AL, Marsha Sanderson (Joey), Chancellor, AL; 2 sons: Michael Motley (Donna), Enterprise, AL, Barron Motley, Cullman, AL; 3 sisters: Shirley Dady, Westville, FL, Mary Marconnett, Owaha, KS, Mavis Smith, Geneva, AL; 2 brothers: Leon Carr, Enterprise, AL, Tony Carr, Opp, AL; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
