Mrs. Carolyn Sue Kelly Fohan, age 78, of Dothan, passed away December 2, 2015.  


Services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Grandstaff officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time at the church.


Serving as pallbearers will be Will Parker, Justin Eaves, Drew Danner, Matt Bradshaw, Robert Kemp and Wilton Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be the Foy Strickland Sunday School Class from Southside Baptist Church.


Born October 24, 1937 in Slocomb to the late J. T. and Jewel Rash Kelly, she attended Slocomb High School. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Dothan Garden Club for many years. She loved shopping, and more shopping, reading, swimming, and the beach. She had a liver transplant twenty-four and a half years ago. She overcame many health problems in the last twenty-five years but stayed strong and was a fighter. She loved the Lord, her family, and friends.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Kelly.


Survivors include her husband, Alfred Fohan; her daughters, Yolonda (Billy) Parker, Dothan, Karmen Mullins, Dothan, and Vicky (Glenn) Griffin, Columbus, GA; her sons, Jon (Sirena) Williams, Slocomb and Randy Fohan, Colorado; her grandchildren, Kara (Drew) Danner, Skipperville, Torey (Justin) Eaves, Dothan, Will (Blair) Parker, Dothan, Blake Bradshaw, Dothan, Matt (Ashton) Bradshaw, Dothan, Lindsey (Timothy) Woods, Columbus, and Keri (Britton) Gail, Columbus, Lacey Williams and Logan Williams; great-grandchildren, Drew Parker Danner, AnaKate Danner, Brody Hayes Eaves, Lily Bryan Eaves, Myles Henry Eaves, Ayden Grace Bradshaw, John Mark Bradshaw, Timothy Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Phinehas Gail, and Silas Gail; many other close cousins, relatives, and friends.


The family would like to express their gratitude to the compassionate nurses and staff at Wesley Manor Retirement and Nursing Home for their care and support.
