Mrs. Clara Cloree Tomlin died Wednesday, July 21, 2016 at Ozark Health and Rehab. She was 82.


 


Funeral services for Mrs. Tomlin will be 2P.M. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Church in Ozark with Reverend James Bell and Brother William Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time at the church on Monday. Flowers will be accepted.


 


Mrs. Tomlin was born in Dale County on December 1, 1933. She worked at Judy Bond Outlet and in later years at Vivian B. Adams. Her true love was her family and her animals. She was a caring person that always wanted to see people happy and successful.


 


She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy “Mack” Braxton Tomlin; mother, Elease Barfield Carr; father, King Harrison Carr; and her brother, Harlyn Carr; one great grand-child.


 


Mrs. Tomlin leaves behind to cherish her memories, sons, Tim Tomlin (Frances), Terry Tomlin (Wanda) both of Ozark; sisters, Mary Jo Garrett(Brady) of Brundidge, Carolyn Dixon (Hal) of Alturas, Florida, Dorothy “Dot” Boyd (Pat) of Eufaula; brother, Parearlyn Carr (Mary Lou) of Alturas, Florida; sister-in-laws, Annett Carr of Brundidge, Mavis King of Ozark, Maxine Danner of Ariton, Mary Tomlin of Pensacola; grandchildren Dawn McCauley, Scott Tomlin (Valerie),Tonya Gibson, Sean Gibson (Nicole), Terry Gibson (Lynn); twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
