Obituary: Cloteal "Tee" Campbell

 

Mrs. Cloteal "Tee" Campbell of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the home of her daughter, in Malvern. She was 95.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at New Teamon Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.

 

Mrs. Campbell was born June 25, 1920 in Geneva County to the late Joe Sephus and Mae Fuqua Sorrells. Mrs. Campbell was a very loving person and loved to cook. She was a member of New Teamon Baptist Church.

 

In addition to her parents, three husbands: Homer Butler, James Kirkland and Jack Campbell; son-in-law, Huey Helms and nine sisters all preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include two daughters: Sue Helms and Patsy Mills (Jerry), both of Slocomb; one son, Gerald Butler (Marie), Slocomb; one sister, Aileen Butler, Slocomb; eight grandchildren: 23 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great grandchildren; 5 great-great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
