 Obituary:  Mrs. Connie “Sugar” Morris


 


 


Mrs. Connie “Sugar” Morris of Hartford passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at SAMC. She was 50.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Kienner Batchelor and Rev. Jason Duren officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery (Chipley, FL) with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 


Mrs. Morris was born October 31, 1963 in Houston County to the late Willis Earl Gilley and Frankie Sue Sullivan. Connie was a woman of God, who was also a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, wife, and sister. 


Survivors include: her husband, Bobby Morris, Hartford; five children: Kristy White, Dothan, Whitney and Michael Chaney, Hodgesville, Chris Morris, Brett Smith and Alicia Smith, all of Hartford; three sisters: Pam Treadway (Rick), St. Louis, MO, Donna Johnson (Todd), Ariton and Lisa Windham (Larry), Ariton; one brother, Buddy Smith, Slocomb; eleven grandchildren; a very special aunt and uncle, Mary and Gerald Gatlin of Wicksburg; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.   


Pallbearers: Buddy Smith, Kris Tomlinson, Korey Windham, DJ Richardson, Tony Wood, Christopher Gatlin, Rick Treadway and William Hauss.
