Dora Bagwell, a resident of Dothan, died peacefully in her sleep on May 28, 2015. She was 78.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Judy Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM at the funeral home. The family will be accepting flowers.

 

Mrs. Bagwell was born January 25, 1937 in Houston County, the daughter of the late Buck and Virgie Hall Skipper. She was a Dothan business owner for over 45 years, having owned Houston Seat Cover.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan O’Neal Bagwell, Sr. and her son, Dan O’Neal Bagwell, Jr.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Hall; her granddaughter, Dalton Hall Bagwell; her sisters, Jean (Wyndal) Pitts, Cherry (Mac) Lewis, and Jo (Harold) Singletary; her brothers, Jerry (Gina) Skipper and Phillip (Sonja) Skipper; other relatives and many loving friends.

 

She will be missed!
