Mrs. Doris Reynolds Howell of Ashford, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 85.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Cowarts Assembly of God with Reverend Franklin Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Howell was a member of Cowarts Assembly of God and she loved flowers.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Mary Helen Nowell and Rose Mary Sanders, and one sister, Willine Bottoms.

 

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Howell of Ashford; sons, Danny O’Steen and his wife, Lois of Richland, MI; Tommy Howell and his wife, Trista of Dothan; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
