Mrs. Edna Earl Prevatt, a resident at Extendicare passed away Monday, September 8, 2014. She was 94.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Prevatt was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Jarvis and Leola Raley Jarvis, husband, Jay Prevatt, grandson, Charleston Hinson, step-daughters, Inez Hughes, Mable Glass, and step-son, Jay Prevatt, Jr.

Survivors include her children, James Prevatt and his wife Melanie, Abbie Sheppard and her husband Kevin, Juanita Tice, all of Dothan; Joyce Baxley and her husband Walter of Ashford; Titus Prevatt and his wife Lynda of Gordon; Timothy Prevatt and his wife Carol of Ashford; sister, Lola B. Anderson of Ozark; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Watermark Church for the Flower Ministry and to the staff at Extendicare.
