Libby was born May 19, 1953, in Albany, Georgia. At an early age her family moved to Dothan, Alabama. She graduated from Dothan High School in 1971. On June 2, 1972, she married Gerald Bagwell and started their family she was the love of his life and the mother of his two sons. In 1979, they moved their family to Cowarts, Alabama. She loved flowers and while in high school she started work at Hillcrest Florist and continued to work there for several years after she graduated and married. Later she worked for Buds and Blossom Florist. When Randy and Jeremy reached school age Libby took what she liked to call an early retirement to spend time raising their family. She still manage to do the occasional wedding and other floral affairs for family and friends. She was very outgoing and always willing to go the extra mile when and wherever help was needed. We are all going to greatly miss her presence but she leaves behind so many good memories to help us move forward. For almost forty-two years she has been the rock we depended on.

Libby was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Layla Cole, and a brother, Andy Cole.

Survivors are her husband Gerald, two sons, Randy Bagwell, Harvest, Alabama, Jeremy Bagwell, Nashville, Tennessee, three brothers, Robert, Alan and wife, Ava, Don and wife Jennifer, mother and father-in-law, Glenn and Ann Anderson, Cowarts, Alabama, and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

The last few years of her life Libby has been beset with some health issues which she has valiantly fought. She was diagnosed with and eventually triumphed over breast cancer, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia took its toll. The family would like to offer a very heartfelt thanks to all of the dedicated professionals in the healthcare world who have helped her during her fight. Another one of her passions was her nails. We would especially like to thank everyone at NT Nails. You will never truly know how much it brightened her life with her visits to have her nails done.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Bagwell, Randy Bagwell, Jeremy Bagwell, Alan Cole, Don Cole, and Jonathan Cole.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Anderson, Wallace Bagwell, Jackie Bagwell, Ryan Bagwell, and Sammy Bagwell.
