Mrs. Ernestine DePriest formerly of Dothan passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Bonifay Nursing Home and Rehab. She was 90.

 

Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Reverend William Hutchinson officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2013. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice.

 

Mrs. DePriest was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where she loved Sunday School. She also loved gardening, fishing, and sewing.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Columbus Leon Hutchinson and Willie Icie Chancellor Hutchinson, her husband, Henry Howard DePriest, son, Larry Wayne DePriest, granddaughter, Beverly Dawn DePriest, and grandson, Matt Summers.

 

Survivors include daughter, JoAnn Bailey and her husband, Elbert, sons, David Depriest and his wife, Angie, Steve DePriest and his wife, Denise, daughter-in-law, Sharon DePriest, grandchildren, Chris and Michael Summers, Lynda Frerichs, Mark DePriest, Connie Dunn, Marilyn Lee Bodiford, James and Jospeph DePriest, Amanda Hahn, Alyson Brannon, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
