Mrs. Esther Lynn, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016. She was 83.

Born March 27, 1932 in Houston County to the late Webster and Dovie Lewis Davis, Mrs. Lynn was an avid gardener who loved to read and spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Lynn; her sisters, Eudean Hardy and Lena Morris; and her brother, Dan Davis.

Survivors include her daughter, Myra (David) Rose; her sons, Davis (Barbara) Lynn, Lee (Hollee) Lynn, and Keith Lynn; her sisters, Katreen Spivey, Judy Snyder, Ann Walker, June Brown, and Earline Teston; her brothers, Joe Davis, Wendell Davis, Winston Davis, and Jack Davis; her grandchildren; Mandy, Nickolas, Mickie, Jessica, Jennifer, Jessica, Jacob, Jerrica, Jennifer, and Jeremy; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the funeral home.

The family will be accepting flowers.
