Eva B. Freeman, 95, of Pansey, AL, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Extendicare in Dothan, AL.  

 

Ms. Freeman was born on February 14, 1921 in Pansey, AL.  Survivors include her daughter Judy Godwin Heilig and husband Ron of Springfield, Virginia and a son William L. (Bill) Godwin and wife Wanda of Dothan, AL.  Grandchildren are Rhonda Heilig, Ronnie Heilig, Robin Heilig, Chris Godwin and Cliff Godwin.  Great-grandchildren are Morgan Godwin, Christian Godwin, Marie Heilig, Ariel Heilig, Hesed Heilig, Aziel Heilig, and Scotty Heilig.  She is also survived by a sister Emmy Granger and sisters-in-law Shirley Brown and Hazel Brown. Nieces, Susan (Mike) Hester, Beverly (Robert) Hinson, and Brenda (Billy Joe) Dean.

The funeral will be held at Liberty Baptist Church in Pansey, AL at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2016 with Reverend Coley Holloway officiating.  The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service at 1:00 pm. 

 

Active pallbearers are Chris Godwin, Cliff Godwin, Jeff Hinson, Robin Heilig, and Ronnie Capan. Honorary pallbearers are Caleb Godwin and Scotty Heilig.

 

In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to Liberty Baptist Church.
