Mrs. Georgia Beatrice Anderson Mills “Granny” of Dothan passed away Friday, April 26, 2013. She was 86.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2013, at Rehobeth Baptist Church with Reverend Travis Free officiating. Burial will follow in Harpers Joy Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, April 29, 2013. At other times the family will be gathered at 151 Sherwood Trail, Newton, AL. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Mills attended Rehobeth Baptist Church. She loved going to Rose Hill Senior Center where she was Domino Champion in 2012, also received many gold medals.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Woodham and Clinora Brookins Woodham, her husbands, Paul Anderson, Pate Mills, son, Daniel Wayne Anderson, and a brother.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara Miller and her husband, Gerald of Newton; Charlene Bice and her husband, Mike of Dothan; sister, Geraldine Boyd of Cowarts; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
