Georgia Louise Love, a resident of Dothan, went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her husband and friends, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 74.

 

Memorial services for Mrs. Love will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverends Tommy Smith and Bob Yawn officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

 

Mrs. Love was born August 17, 1939 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to Bob and Eunice Kelley Beamon. She married Bud Love, March 17, 1961 and followed him throughout his career in the Navy and settled in Dothan in 1996. She was a member of Cloverdale United Methodist Church and loved gardening and her flowers and plants.

 

Mrs. Love is survived by her husband, Bud Love; son and daughter in law, Lance and Cathy Love; two grandchildren, Harley and Austin; sisters in law, Jerri Johnson, Linda Ross and Allene Gilbert and her husband, Clifford.
