Mrs. Gladys Smith of Cottonwood passed away Monday, June 22, 2015. She was 90.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Karl Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cottonwood Senior Center.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents Bill Reeves and Leonora Canady Reeves, husband Clyde Smith, grandson Stephen Cantrell, sisters Ruby Ready, Mildred Russell, Edna Smith, brother Jimmy Wayne Reeves and step-son Butch Smith.

Survivors include daughters Darlene Cantrell and her husband Alton of Cottonwood;  Martha Lloyd of Slocomb, step-sons Danny Smith and his wife Rachael of Marietta, GA; Ricky Smith and his wife Glenda of Pace, FL; sisters Betty Barker and her husband Norm of Donalsonville, GA; Evelyn Wells of Panama City, FL; Mary Barrentine of Sneads, FL; Murle Baxley of Plant City, FL; and grandchildren Wes Cantrell, Tracy Munson and Christy Lloyd.
