Mrs. Hattie Carmichael Sessions, age 92, a lifelong resident of Enterprise, AL, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at a local hospital.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Enterprise with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.  A private, family interment will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Enterprise, 302 North Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.


Mrs. Sessions was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Enterprise, Enterprise Homemaker’s Club and a Sunday School teacher.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewie Frank Sessions.


Survivors include her three children, Frankie and Barbara Sessions, Enterprise, AL; Lynn and Anthony Walls, Panama City Beach, FL; Kay and Ricky McLin, Daleville, AL; grandchildren, Lori Sessions; Melanie McLin Connell (Tom); Christi Walls Williford (John); Matthew McLin; Anna Walls; Sally Sessions Sutley (Clay); great-grandchildren, Alex and Saralyn Nelson; Katie Mac Manning; a brother, Billy Carmichael; sister-in-law, Nell Carmichael; Charlotte Sessions, mother of Lori; several nieces and nephews.
