Helen Louise Hart Sellers, 86, widow of Charles Rufus Sellers, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 17, 2014.


 


Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 20, 2014 in the Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend John Smith and Bill Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Ramah Primitive Baptist Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.

Born November 2, 1927 in Defuniak Springs, FL, Louise was the daughter of the late Joseph Pleasant and Annie Hardy Hart. She graduated from Walton County High School where she was Valedictorian of her class. While attending Business College in Dothan, she worked for a couple of years with Hand Supply Company. She was a homemaker and Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church of Cottonwood and a member of Southside Baptist Church of Blakely, GA, where she also taught Sunday School for twenty years while living there.


 


In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by two sons, Don Charles Sellers, and Stephen A. Sellers; and a son-in-law, Bobby LaDon Poole.


 


Surviving are a son, Enoch Junyous Sellers, Cottonwood; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah Louise (Jim) Robbins, Dothan, and Charlotte Sellers (Jim) Sanders, Calera; a brother, Donald Hart, Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Merle Duncan, Ohio, Ann Bush, Chipley, FL, and Jean Hart, Destin, FL; two grandchildren, Spring Poole (Jason) Cosby, and Sable Elaine (Joseph) Miller all of Dothan; four grandchildren, Bobby and Abigail Cosby,  Austyn  and Phoenix Miller.
